Apple added a new “Guided Tours” section to its Apple Watch website on Friday, which provides a detailed look at the main features of the device ahead of its April 24th launch. The site includes videos that teach prospects how to take advantage of Watch’s new interactions and technologies.
There are only four videos so far: Welcome (Overview), News, Digital Touch, and Faces, but Apple lists several as “Coming Soon”. Once uploaded, users can get guided tours showing them how to use Apple Pay, make calls, track their activities and workouts, and more.
The launch announced in September last year is planned for April 24th. Pre-orders will take place next Friday at 12:01 a.m. PST. This is Apple’s first major launch since the original iPad five years ago, and the whole world is testing whether it can do for wearables what it did for tablets.
Update: Apple added the Guided Tours videos to its YouTube channel, so we’ve embedded them below.
