Apple has released updated beta versions for the various operating systems currently in development, including iOS 10 Beta 3, MacOS Sierra 10.12 Beta 3, WatchOS Beta 3, and TVOS 10 Beta 3.
The third beta versions of iOS 10, macOS Sierra, tvOS, and watchOS are now available to users participating in developer beta testing programs. A public beta is usually introduced shortly thereafter.
Users running a current beta version can now find Beta 3 in the software update mechanism of the Settings app for iOS and tvOS, the Watch app for watchOS and in the App Store Updates section for macOS Sierra.
Public beta versions are also available through the software update for users participating in the larger beta testing programs. The version is the same although the versions are one less. For example, the mobile version is versioned as iOS 10 Public Beta 2.
Each new beta version contains bug fixes and feature enhancements as the software development cycle progresses to the final version.
The final versions of iOS 10, macOS Sierra, tvOS 10 and watchOS 3 are slated to be released to the general public in the fall.
On the flip side, Apple has released the final versions of several minor updates to the point launch system, including OS X 10.11.6 El Capitan for Mac users, iOS 9.3.3 for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch, and watchOS 2.2.2 for Apple Watch and tvOS 220.127.116.11 for Apple TV.
