Do you want to be the first to buy iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus? Then get ready for a long night.
Apple enthusiasts looking to pre-order the iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus can do so this afternoon starting at midnight Pacific time (12:00 PM PST / 3:01 AM EST) on September 15th.
To get your hands on the iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus on September 22nd, be sure to pre-order the device or line up at a retail store.
The iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus have 4.7 screens? and 5.5? in a new case with a glass bottom, which otherwise looks exactly the same as the iPhone 7 and iPhone 6 with rounded corners, a home button with Touch ID and other familiar functions. Of course, it’s also faster with a better CPU, improved camera features, and the iPhone 8 series supports plug-in charging via third-party Qi charging systems or an AirPower mat available from Apple next year.
You can pre-order the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus from any iPhone carrier website (AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, Verizon in the US), the Apple.com page for iPhone 8, or the Apple Store app at iOS.
Users who place their first iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus pre-orders will receive their release date on September 22nd. It is important to note, however, that most iPhone pre-orders sell out quickly and the shipping date slips a few weeks later.
Keep in mind that the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus are completely different devices from the iPhone X, which was also announced at the same Apple event. If you plan on buying the iPhone X in advance, you’ll have to wait until October 27th or visit a retail store before the iPhone X launch date on November 3rd to try and buy one in person.
