Apple makes it easy to filter content so that you only see the stories and videos from the Apple News channels that you follow on the app’s Today page. This is how it works under both MacOS and iOS.
Most of us cannot visit every news site every day. Because of this, they have become increasingly popular over the years. These services give you instant access to myriad of stories over the Internet. Still, there are times when less is more. During this time, instead of watching news from unlimited sources, you may want to stick with your favorites.
Only view stories from Apple News channels that you follow

one) Go to the Apple News application and Messages> Settings from macOS Menubar.
two) Check the box that says Limit Stories In Today .
3) Quit and restart the Apple News application.
From now on, you’ll only see content on Today from channels you follow. All other sources are blocked. To remove this setting, re-check the Restrict Stories Today check box and restart Apple News.
You can get the same result on your iPhone or iPad. In this case, you will need to go to the Settings application on your device and select Messages.
one) From here scroll down until you see the lever Currently restrict stories, and change the setting to the On position.
two) Confirm your selection by tapping activate .
3) Make sure to restart the Apple News app for iOS for the change to take effect.
From now on, the Apple News app will only show stories from the channels you follow. You can deselect the selection to remove this setting.
On macOS or iOS, you can make a simple change so that you only see articles from the Apple News channels that you follow. When you’re ready, change it again to show stories from other sources.
