An additional two individuals have been arrested related to a theft at London's Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals were injured by what is thought to be pepper spray, as stated by law enforcement.

A man, 24, was taken into custody in Lambeth on suspicion of robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, authorities confirmed.

These detentions follow an investigation into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the incident, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their suitcases upon exiting a car park lift.

A toddler aged three was among the injured in the event. A total of five individuals went to hospital for medical care and were later discharged.

Police detained a 31-year-old man on suspicion of robbery and assault near the scene. He was subsequently released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.

Police were called at approximately 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding a number of people injured by a noxious substance believed to be pepper spray.

The attack - an event that police said was a standalone incident and not considered an act of terror - resulted in train delays and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park for a short time.
